When we started blending sauce from the kitchen of our Brooklyn loft in 2008, we knew we were onto something good. Buying ingredients from our neighborhood veggie stands and market vendors, we learned firsthand the ins and outs of The Mix, a culinary underground taking form all over the world. The Kitchen is our way of saying GET INTO IT! Check out recipes from our collective and from some of the top chefs and restaurants around. Creativity is key, like a 70's key party for chips. Or other things.

Ingredients:

- 1 bonfire
- 1 cast iron skillet
- 1 fork
- 1 jar of Brooklyn Salsa, THE GREEN
- 3 tbsp Grape Seed Oil
- 1 local red onion, hand sliced
- 1 large clove local garlic, whole
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 local jalapeno pepper
- 4 local yellow zucchini
- 6 farm eggz
- 4 strips of local bacon
- 6 local russet potatoes
- local sharp chedder cheese

INGREDIENTS:

- 1 jar of Brooklyn Salsa, your choice
- 1 medium local red onion, diced
- 1 large clove local garlic, minced
- 1 tsp organic cumin seed
- 1 cup cooked organic black beans
(or one 15oz can, drained and rinsed)
- 1 local jalapeno pepper
- 1 organic orange
- 2 organic limes
- 1 tbsp organic raw agave nectar
- 6 8-inch organic flour tortillas
- 1/2 head of local cabbage
- 2 organic lemons
- 1/2 cup local cilantro
- 3 tbsp Grape Seed Oil
Ingredients:
-1 1/4 lb Ground Buffalo Meat
-
A clove of Garlic

1 tsp salt
-
1 Tblsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar

-2 small sweet Onions

A little Oregano

-A squirt of Agave Nectar

Ingredients:
- Sunny Side Up Local, Organic Eggs

- Fresh Toast from the Local Bakery

- STATEN ISLAND Salsa
- BK Salsa The Tropical 1/2 Jar
- Sweet Potatoes 4
- Butter 1/2 stick OR Vegan Alternative 1/2 stick
- Veggie Stock 1/4 cup
- Flour 1/4 cup
- Thyme 1 tbs
- Brown Sugar 3 tbsp
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Cinnamon 1 tbsp
- Shredded Coconut

Ingredients:
- Butternut Squash

- 3/4 cup Goat Cheese

- 1/2 tsp Bitters

- 1 tbsp Garlic

- 1 cup Bread Crumbs

- 1 tsp Honey

- 1 tsp Cinnamon

- 1 tsp Coriander

- 1/2 Jar THE CURRY
- 1/4 cup flour
Sliced Peaches
3-4 parts "The Hot"
1 part agave nectar
a little bit of dried oregano and just enough cumin to be slightly aromatic

- 1/4 pound of Brioche Bread

- 1/2 cup of macadamia nuts

- 1 tbsp of minced garlic (or garlic powder)

- 1 cup creme fraiche

1 can (12 fluid ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons of Honey

1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs

1 shot of Cognac
2 Spring Roll Pastry
1 cup of Organic Coconut Milk
Chilli Powder, a pinch
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- Olive Oil
- 2 shallots, diced
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of minced garlic (1/2 clove)
- 8 ounces of Pasta (of your choice)
- 4-5 strips of Bacon, or substitute vegetarian bacon
- 3 tsp corn starch
- 1/2 cup dairy or vegan parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup BK Salsa The Tropical

Ingredients:
- Organic Chicken Breast

- Olive Oil

- One Jar of THE TROPICAL
